Affordable Drug Rehab in Dayton, Ohio

Quality Addiction Treatment Without the Overwhelming Price Tag

When you’re ready to get help, the last thing you need is a bill you can’t pay. Many people put off treatment because they assume rehab means tens of thousands of dollars. That’s often true of residential programs. But outpatient treatment is a very different picture.

Recovery Works Healing Center offers affordable outpatient drug and alcohol rehab in the Dayton area. We accept all Ohio Medicaid plans and many major commercial insurance plans. And because our programs let you live at home, keep working, and stay close to family, you avoid many of the costs that come with residential care.

Why Outpatient Rehab Is More Affordable

Residential rehab includes room, board, and 24-hour staffing, which drives the cost up. Outpatient treatment focuses your care, and your costs, on the therapy itself. You can:

  • Keep your job and your income while in treatment
  • Avoid housing and meal costs of a residential stay
  • Use insurance benefits that typically cover outpatient behavioral health care
  • Step up or down in intensity based on what you actually need, instead of paying for more care than necessary

For many people, outpatient care is the right clinical fit, not just the affordable one. Our Intensive Outpatient Program provides about 9 hours of group therapy a week, plus individual counseling. That’s real, structured treatment.

Insurance Plans We Accept

Commercial insurance

  • Anthem
  • Aetna
  • Medical Mutual
  • Humana
  • UMR
  • UnitedHealthcare
  • Molina Commercial

Ohio Medicaid: All plans, including CareSource, Molina, Buckeye, and more. See our Ohio Medicaid page.

Under federal mental health parity law, most health plans must cover substance use disorder treatment on terms comparable to medical care. Your deductible, copays, and coinsurance still apply, and our team will walk you through them before you start.

How to Keep Rehab Costs Down

  1. Verify your benefits first. We’ll check your deductible, copay, and whether prior authorization is needed, online or by phone.

  2. Choose an in-network provider. Out-of-network care usually costs much more.

  3. Start at the right level of care. An assessment ensures you get the care you need, without paying for more than you need.

  4. Ask about MAT coverage. Medications like Suboxone and Vivitrol are often covered under your pharmacy or medical benefit.

  5. Check whether you qualify for Medicaid. If your income has changed, you may qualify. Medicaid can make treatment free or nearly free.

Professional and Caring

Our time with Recovery Works has been wonderful. Everyone we ever interacted with was very professional and caring. Our family had been in a state of crisis when we came in for help and they worked with us and helped us in our time of need. The individual therapy sessions were so good for our son and we were so pleased with his therapist, Jessica. Programs for teenagers/young adults are very hard to come by but Recovery Works offered exactly what we needed. I will always recommend them for anyone who is ever in need of services. Thank you, RWHC, for working with our family.
