Partnering to Get People the Right Care
Recovery Works Healing Center works with hospitals, emergency departments, primary care providers, courts, probation officers, recovery community organizations, and other treatment programs across the Dayton area. We appreciate every referral and want to make sure each person we accept is a good fit for our programs.
What We Offer
Walk-in and scheduled drug and alcohol assessments (Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–2 p.m., adult locations)
Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Non-Intensive Outpatient programs
Dual diagnosis and outpatient mental health treatment
Medication-assisted treatment with Suboxone (buprenorphine) or Vivitrol (naltrexone), as part of clinical treatment
Case management and crisis intervention
Recovery housing and Youth services for ages 4–17 (by appointment)
MAT Is Offered Only With Clinical Treatment
Recovery Works does not provide medication-only or prescription-only MAT services.
Clients who receive Suboxone or Vivitrol through Recovery Works must be enrolled in, and actively participating in, one of our clinical programs. That includes an assessment, counseling, and group or individual therapy as outlined in their treatment plan.
If your client is looking only for a prescriber and doesn’t want counseling or treatment services, we are not the right fit. We recommend referring them to an office-based opioid treatment provider or opioid treatment program that offers medication-only care.
We take this approach because medication works best alongside counseling and support, and because our program is built around integrated, whole-person care.
Who Is a Good Referral?
Good fit:
- Adults with a substance use disorder who are willing to take part in outpatient treatment
- People with co-occurring mental health conditions
- People seeking MAT and counseling
- Clients stepping down from detox, residential, or inpatient care
- People who need recovery housing while in treatment
Not a fit:
- People seeking medication only, without clinical services
- People who need medical detox or 24-hour medical supervision (we can help coordinate once they’re stable)

Empowered Me to Become a Better Human
This place really empowered me to become a better human being. The therapy really works, my counselor was the absolute best. I recommend this place to those who are tired and want help or those who have no where to go like myself when I first started treatment. Sober living was great the staff was very easy to work with. Thanks for helping change my life.

Professional and Caring
Our time with Recovery Works has been wonderful. Everyone we ever interacted with was very professional and caring. Our family had been in a state of crisis when we came in for help and they worked with us and helped us in our time of need. The individual therapy sessions were so good for our son and we were so pleased with his therapist, Jessica. Programs for teenagers/young adults are very hard to come by but Recovery Works offered exactly what we needed. I will always recommend them for anyone who is ever in need of services. Thank you, RWHC, for working with our family.
